JEFF UPDATE -
Received 5/9/11@ 11:30am BT (BajaTime)
Jeff is sedated as of yesterday morning, he needed a
tube line to be put down his throat to his lungs so that he
could breathe easier, as he was having a lot of trouble. The
trauma of the surgeries is catching up with him. He is still
sedated with the tube and will be flown in about two hours
to University Medical Tucson,, a great trauma facility,, he
will be sedated till he gets there. He has family and
friends located in Tucson. At the moment we are trying to
set up a fundraising page. He has a big balance up to
100,000 at the Cabo hospital as we needed 3 teams of
surgeons. The Tucson hospital wants a deposit of 50,000 so
we are trying to work on that as well. If its not to forward
any donations will be accepted through the form of PayPal to

I lost my buff on Costa Agua on Sunday. It blew out of my
quad's basket around 2 pm. It is a cloth gray and white

EAST CAPE GUILD GENERAL MEETING - EVERYONE IS WELCOME
Wednesday, May 11th is the last Guild general meeting of
this season at Caleb’s Cafe at 11:00 . On Saturday, May 14,
we will be awarding a record numbers of students with their
scholarships for next year. If you have signed up to bring
cookies to the award ceremony you can bring them to the
meeting. May 11 is also the deadline for recipes for our
next cookbook. Please respond to

a. SKY WATCHERS: For observers still in El Sargento,
La Ventana, and the Los Barriles area, if you are sitting
outside any of the next 3 evenings, watch for bright passes
of the International Space Station. The chart below shows
that tonight, May 8, a very bright pass (the more negative
the number the brighter the pass) of the ISS will be first
visible low (10 degrees = one fist width at arm's length) in
the NW sky at 9:06:19 pm. It will rise as it heads south
reaching a high point in the SW sky (53 degrees) at 9:09:09
pm and continue south until it fades from view at 9:09:46 pm
in the southern sky. In the Los Barriles area times will be
about 7 seconds later than those shown in the chart.
