As a "Guest" business owner in this paradise we call home, I am in a unique position to give something back to the community, and the people who support me thru fund raising.  It has come to my attention that one such person, Maria Loreto Amador Castro, needs our help with open heart surgery. The cost for the operation is $43,556.40 pesos, and the family cannot afford it. (This same operation in the states would be in the hundreds of thousands.)
I am therefore donating 20% of all 20 piece bags of my delicious cream centers to the family. You will still get the chocolates you've come to love at the same $5.00 pesos per piece, and yuo will be helping to save the life of a very special lady. I've also placed a donation can on my counter to aid in this fund raiser. Let's all please donate generously and show our "Hosts" that we have big hearts and are here to help those in need.
Thanks, Charlie
P.S.    As an added incentive, I'll be giving a raffle ticket for each purchase of 20 piece cream centers for a drawing to be held each week in May and June. Prizes will include one of my giant cockatoos, ice cream sundaes, banana splits, cones, chocolates, and other stuff. That's right, I forgot to mention, I will have "soft serve ice cream" very soon. More to follow.
P.S.S.  I'm going to my son's graduation in Sacramento for a week. My helper, Mariza, will be covering for me in my absence. Since she has a family, (and a life) she will not be open 12 hours a day, but from 10:00 to 6:00p.m. We'll start ice cream when I get back.

QUESTIONS

a.  We'll be driving north home, probably through Tecate.  Figuring we'll cover about 330-400 miles a day give or take.  Does anyone have any favorite, lovely, modestly priced places to stay on what would be a three-nights-in-Mexico trip?  We not not have pets.  We'd like to be relatively close to the border on the 3rd night. Thanks so much!  Also, is route 3 a good way to go from Ensenada to Tecate these days?  Or is 2 the preferred route for safety reasons?  Jennifer  alighton@me.com.

ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS

a.  There seems to be some confusion about my last post that outlined the Cabo Pulmo boundaries  If you enter these four coordinates in your GPS it should form the four corners of a rectangle.  That outlines the boundaries of the marine park on land and sea.               Mark Rayor    www.vistaseasport.com
