Update on Jeff
Jeff is feeling a little bit more stable now that he
received a screw in his pelvic bone to hold his core
together. My family has been trying to comfort him as much
as possible, taking shifts visiting him at the hospital.
Jeff wants all his friends down in Baja to know that he
appreciates all they have done for him!! Thank you for
everyone's support and concerns. Please continue praying
for a speedy and successful recovery!

uplifting get away day.... BOOK THE AWESOME BOAT thur East
Cape RV park We were a group of 11 yesterday...and had
the most wonderful, incredible day on the beautiful Sea of
Cortez!!! Our captain Luis and Adon went way out of
their way to make sure we saw as much sea life and action as
possible. ( How can they spot a turtle so far away?) We
saw dolphin, whales, turtles, rays, caught and released a
rooster fish (a thrill for the children aboard especially)
swam and snorkled and had a great lunch and tour at Bahia de
Sueno..
I try to do this at least once a season and it is total
highlight of the year!!! Get a group together and JUST DO
IT...you will never be sorry!!!! Carlee
c. Hi! I would like to send big huge thank you to Connie
Heinen, owner of Solutions. Connie is a licensed and
certified tattooist. She does Cosmetic Tattooing. I needed
something different than her clients who see her for
permanent make up, such as tattooed eye liner, eyebrows or
lips. I had a double mastectomy in the year 2000. I had had
nipples tattooed on as part of the reconstructive process of
making breasts. The nipples, although unseen by anyone
except myself and my husband, were awful. I cried for two
days after I saw them. I lived with them for the last 10
years, hating them ever time I saw them, but since I was
stuck with them, I just dealt with it. I went with a friend
and talked to Connie. After hearing what she had to say and
having her design pigment colors just for me, I decided to
go for it. Oh my gosh! I had no idea of how different I
would feel after having them done and correctly. I actually
look like I have real nipples. Connie just didn't change
something on the outside, just changed me totally on the
inside. I was surprised I was still carrying that sadness
around with me every day. Connie gave me back something I
had lost 10 years ago, my sense of femininity. I am
surprised at how I feel now. I feel womanly! I recommend
Connie for her beautiful work on permanent make up. Anything
as far as facial scarring or like for myself, a problem with
breast reconstruction, I highly recommend you talk to
Connie, look at her book of miracles, I call it. She has
done some amazing cosmetic work for people with facial
