On Friday night @ 9pm most of our electrical circuits went dead. Everything seemed fine with the electrical panels and main breaker. Next day Pilar found that someone had removed about 300' of wire off of the poles. These poles are on the main street of Buenos Aires. The power was restored the next day, great service! So if your power goes out you may help the the pole climbing thieves down if you are carrying an axe.  Bill & Sylvia

     Southern Baja Legal Services | LEXSUR Group would like to thank everyone that attended our 2nd Immigration Seminar in LB. For those who've attended or met me, you probably know by now that our teams' effort has been to keep-up with all the ongoing changes with this New Immigration Law that kicked-in this past Nov. 9th; our goal is to understand the difference between the Old vs the New Mexican Immigration Law (as it is slowly publicly made available) so we could then pass-on/share the information with you.
     e.g. The first piece of information that you all need to know on this quest of understanding or staying up-to-date is first figuring-out what your current visa under the old law (e.g. Tourist Card, FM3, FM2 or Inmigrado), is now equivalent to as of Nov. 9th, under the new law (e.g. Visitor, Temporary & Permanent Resident Card). a.  Congratulations to Patti and her fearless crew from Hotel Pescadera !  In an emergency, they raced over to Santa Maria and, in rough seas, managed to pull Ken Phillips sunken boat with new motor up off the sea floor near the deep drop-off. All of his nice rods, reels, gear, and even
his 2 dorado were salvaged by Patti's crew and divers. Great effort !.
