It is again that time of year when we can pay our property taxes
early for 2012, in La Paz county, and the new political party in
power this year has decided to give discounts of 30% from now until
Dec.31. Sounds good but there will be a small adjustment for most of
us if your property is classified as Suburban or Urban. By small I
am being facetious as the suburban taxes have a 20% increase and if
you’re lucky enough to have an urban classification you get a 115%
increase, one hundred and fifteen percent, not a typo. We have
contacted the forces to be and expressed our concern over rights
violations plus other factors involved and advised them this office
would be filing a formal protest and not to look forward to seeing
monies from this office until this matter is resolved. More to

deliver. The tournament dates are Friday night the 28th for the
skipper's meeting at 5pm at Hotel Buena Vista Beach Resort, Saturday
the 29th is the tournament date and Sunday at 5:30pm the silent

If you plan to come down to the East Cape coming winter season
please help me to find donated boxing gloves (used or new 16,14oz.
are the most needed, 8-10oz for ladies and kids ) will be a great
help for our group, our trainer Jose Salas (from Cuba, he is now
nationalized Mexican) is a great human been, he is doing a wonderful
social work in La Paz keeping youngsters out of vice and kids and
ladies from obesity, his fee in minimum, almost ridiculous ($50
pesos!! about 4usd a month!!) and part of that goes to keep the gym
going!! We are a bout 120 people in 5 different classes from 6:30am
to 8pm, from all ages, shapes and economics back grounds and most of
his students CAN NOT afford to buy their own pair of gloves. And
like always we can't expect any help from our government. Our little
gym lacks everything, but we solve many things with creativity, but
gloves, jumping ropes (we tried regular rope, but it doesn't work
when you try to speed up) and bandage are the biggest issues. You
can drop your donations at my father & brother's shop in Los

QUESTIONS
a. Does anyone have any experience with viewing US Netflix
in Mx yet? I saw the information about HYA on the BPE and I am
wondering if anyone has done this yet. Also, do you need that
different router, the HYA website recommends? It's reviews were poor
so I was hesitant to get one. With hope to get this all working, we
brought our ROKU. Thanks for whatever you can fill me in on.

b. Recently re-opened, Vianey's offers you breakfast, at
a cost of $50.00 pesos for any entree. We also serve our delicious
lunches and dinners every day of the week. We have our special rib
dinner on Tuesday evenings, along with our other daily selections.
