season will be held at Caleb’s Cafe on Wednesday,
October 26 at 11:00. Please come to find out about this group
which has provided scholarships to local kids for 14 years. All

Volleyball is a very popular sport with the
local kids. Professor Daniel Alberto Flores Castro,
the sports coordinator of the high school our local students
attend, has stated that the school
(CECyT 03) is short of volleyballs and has asked if the
community can help out by providing
volleyballs to the school. How many of you have volleyballs that
are no longer being used? They
will be put to good use by the school. If you have not yet
returned to Baja perhaps you can bring
one or two volleyballs down with you. The volleyballs can be
delivered to Frances Olachea’s accounting office in
the Bancomer center. Thanks for your help.

(1) As far as the no stop sign near the
casino, well it is indeed not there as I drove by today. It used
to be there not long ago. You need to treat that street, it is
called LaPaz street, as if there is a stop
sign as everyone assumes it is there for your safety.
(2) The new sorianas is open next to
the home depot, much nicer , the arroyo road that goes to home
depot is a nightmare I suggest everyone avoid it right now that
the sorianas has opened. dean

work if necessary. We found a loose budgie last winter and gave

take the Baja Ferry to La Paz. I am willing to help you with all
your documentation needs, but need you to let me know soon, so
you can be prepared on driving to Baja via the Baja Ferries. I
am willing to share all info with those who travel with me, but
if all you need is info on the Baja Ferry, please check out:

understand it better, an there are telephone numbers so you can
contact the Baja Ferries office directly in La Paz, Los Mochis,
and Topolobampo, and all these ladies speak pretty good English.
