Wow! I had no idea that East Cape
Dental Clinic provided FREE dental care for all the
local children in Los Barriles, the surrounding towns,
and all the way up to El Cardinal and beyond. The other
day I went to see Dr. Veronica Tuchmann who has been
providing professional dental care at the clinic for the
past year. I had a pleasant and painless experience and
it was nice to actually have a dentist clean my teeth
and be able to assess any other dental issues that I may
be experiencing. The best part is when I went to pay,
the cost was so reasonable and then I was told that this
clinic is a Non-Profit Organization and all the proceeds
go to finance the free dental care for all children
under the age of 14.
Thank you Char for providing our town with a Non-Profit
dental clinic to serve the Gringos and local Mexican
residents at an affordable cost and return it to the
community. I, for one, am committed to supporting the
East Cape Dental Clinic and the children. East Cape

Ensenada immigration stop Warning. If you stop for visa in Ensenada
make sure one person is attending the car at all times. I know of
one person who had to buy a new window and replace a lot of
expensive items in no time at all.. dean (2) Last night we ate at the RV Park in El Cardonal. I believe they call it the Gumbo Club. Incredible! There were 7 of us an we all ordered something different. Big argument on who had the best meal. It was so nice to have something different than taco stand fare. Jill and Clint, the chefs, spent several years at Cabo Pulmo and now they are here for us. Full bar and priced very reasonable. One of their gourmet meals might cost you 50 pesos more than at the taco stand. Give it a try. Let's keep them here. Bernadine
