A list of Animal Rescue groups in Baja for those of you going north and see a dog in distress. We all see these starving dogs along the road, now you can help.

a.  Baja Boat Wheels......Just installed a tongue wheel and kit that Larry at www.bajaenterprises.com    provides down here.......I could not be more satisfied...makes it a cinch to beach launch my 17 foot Whaler...Top quality product.  Dick Lyon

b.  If you need a good welder, I highly recommend Jaime Castellon. His shop is on the right side of the road next to the block factory just past the hot dog cart going north out of Los Barriles. He's done 2 jobs for me and his work is good quality, quick turnaround, and prices are very reasonable. Not too much English but once you show him what you need, he totally understands and gets it right.

QUESTIONS

a.  My wife and I and our 4 year old son are looking to rent a vehicle to travel with in Baja Sur May 1st-21st. We have some land in La Ribera and would like to travel out of there. We would also be interested in renting a small motor home if available. Anyone out there? If so please email alex@bikramyogasandy.com  thanks

b. We are heading across the border at Tecate on Wednesday, April 11th on our way down to Los Barriles.  Does anyone know if Hotel Mision Santa Maria (formerly the Desert Inn) in San Quintin is still pet friendly?
Also, anyone who has recently made the drive down would like to share anything about current road conditions or any other helpful travel tips, we'd appreciate hearing from you!
And finally, if anyone knows of any ongoing Spanish language classes or study groups locally, please let me know. Muchas gracias!
