El Triunfo hosts the B.C.S. State Mountain Bike
Championships on Sunday ... April 22 ! The competitions begins with
the young kids (my favorite race) at 8:30 in the morning and
continues all day through different categories and age groups. There
will no shortage of food available to the public for this event. See
you there.

SHUTTLE BUS TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT:
We have daily services from Los Cabos Airport Terminal
1 to Los Barriles, the departing schedules are 12:30, 14:30 and
17:30.
If you arrive to Terminal 3, we have bus services that
can take you to Terminal 1 for you to take the Shuttle Service to
Los Barriles
We also have daily services from Los Barriles to Los
Cabos Airport Terminal 1 departing at 09:00, 11:00 & 13:00.
The Pick up and drop off point in Los Barriles is right
next from La Paz-San Jose del Cabo Road at KM 109 (FEDERAL ROAD #1),
that is the location of the BUS TERMINAL of AGUILA BUSES AND
ECOBAJATOURS (any taxi in Los Barriles know were it is and it's 1
minute from Los Barriles Main Entrance). When you arrive to Los
Barriles, we can call a Taxi for you, to take you to your hotel.
The average duration of the trip is 1:00 hour and the
price is $185.00 mxp ($14.00 usd)

Our ALMA experience. We recently volunteered to
chaperone a dog that had been cared for by ALMA Humanitaria in Los
Barilles BCS to Portland OR near our home. The experience was very
gratifying and extremely simple. We were met by the ALMA
representatives at the airport in San Jose del Cabo and introduced
to our traveling companion. All flight arrangements had already been
completed and all we had to do was check in with our new friend. The
ALMA representatives stayed with the dog so she could be free right
up till boarding. We didn't need to do anything. Our concern was
claiming her in San Francisco at international arrivals and
rechecking her at domestic. Our concerns were unfounded. She was
waiting when we went to baggage claim and they had hundreds of free
carts to move her crate.
We simply rolled her to the check in point and they waved us right
through. There was very little involved. Next we simply rolled our
luggage and the crate to Alaska check in which was very close. We
checked our bags, and since we had some time until our next flight,
we took Alegra out of her crate and gave her a good walk around the
airport. She met many new friends and was very well behaved. When it
was time to go to our gate, we simply checked her in with Alaska and
they took care of the rest. When we got to Portland the rescue
representative was waiting for us and picked up our new friend at
baggage claim. It couldn't have been easier. We would highly
recommend others to participate. This beautiful dog was in a new
home four days after arriving in Portland. It feels great to be part
of that!
ALMA members and volunteers are doing a great thing,
and you're doing it very well. We can't think of a single thing that
could make this easier. We will be sure to contact you prior to any
future trips down south and we have already suggested this to
friends who visit your area.
