A generous THANKS to Dr Bill Blatchford, our local
Dental sponsor for organizing our first specialty
training program for Dra.Veronica and
Dra.Vanessa at East Cape Dental Clinic. The extraction
training program provided hands on education and
training to our dentists by experts from the Bay
area. John Wayward, DDS and Justin Wu DDS generously
donated their time to travel to East Cape offering their
expertise in wisdom and molar extractions.
Thanks to the generous contribution of Dr Blatchford for
the additional equipment NO more waiting for
appointments. We have expanded our clinic with 2 chairs,
2 great dentists including general dentistry, crown and
bridge, implants and oral hygiene / whitening program
and on call emergency services. We welcome all locals,
tourists, part time North Americans and Canadians to
participate, through your generous contributions to
the Children's Dental Program we offer care to the
children at no cost to the families.

BAJA NIGHT SKIES Monday, December 3 --
The International Space Station (ISS) will pass over Baja
Sur early Tuesday morning, December 4. If you're up by
5:45am, go outside and look towards the NW. At 5:49am the
ISS should be rising low in the NW sky near the star Capella.
Rivaling Venus in brightness, the giant space station, with
its three-man crew, will make a six-minute crossing from the
NW to SE. A few seconds after 5:50am, the ISS will pass the
stars Castor and Pollux in Gemini where the upcoming
December 13-14 Geminid Meteor Shower originates. Half a
minute later it will pass near the moon high in the southern
sky. For the next 4 minutes it will continue SE before
going back into Earth's shadow (over Punta Arena from La
Ventana). On December 21, three more crew members will blast
off to give the Space Station a six-man crew of Americans,
Canadians, and Russians. The next bright evening pass will
be on Saturday, December 8. More on that pass later. Tom S
