at 5:30 I heard several rain drops on the palapa
roof.
Eldon Hathaway here and I'm still alive and kicking. Many of my
friends have called and asked as to what happened, and how I'm
doing.
Last Friday I felt three symptoms of a heart attack. An EKG at
the clinic proved that I wasn't getting enough blood to the
heart. So off we went to Cabo but my condition deteriorated
rapidly and we were met in rout with an ambulance with rescue
devices. Next morning I woke up in Cabo after balloon
angioplasty.
My wife insisted that I be Air Lifted to Phoenix where I had a
second angioplasty. After bed rest in the Hospital here in
Phoenix I was released with the condition that there will be a
third procedure.
So here I am for a month or six weeks untill I get my health
back and be able to and return to Cabo full of resolve and hope
I quit having all this drama. (Dear Eldon....thank you for
staying alive again and keeping us up to date with
the facts.

b. GENERAL ANSWER FOR PARTICULAR KITCHEN UTENSILS AND FOODS
My favorite source for difficult to find kitchen equipment, utensils
and food products is PRO-SAN in Cabo. I have found PAELLA PANS,
WOKS, CANNING JARS and PEPPER GRINDERS. I buy Heinz Malt Vinegar and
Kikkoman Soy Sauce by the gallon for fish and chips, sashimi and
sushi to cook up the local catch. Recently I wanted to make a large
batch of our family recipe for spaghetti sauce, which requires
tomato "paste". The only source in groceries was Wal-Mart at 42P per
140G tube. At Pro-San I bought Contadina in 170G cans at 7.5P and a
3.5KG can for 73P. The savings were enormous. Prices are fixed at
the time the product is put on the shelf in Dollars and Pesos. You
can pay in either currency. Cash is best, this is not a
