Amigos de Animales is having our annual garage
sale in La Ribera on February 25th from 9 a.m. to 12:00 noon. It
will be held at the house of Bob and Ruth Moran. Calle Prof. Ma.
Luisa Carballo and Calle 16 de Septiembre. ( Next door to where the
sale was held last year) if you have anything that you would like to
donate, please contact me before February 23. If you live in the Los
Barriles area, you can drop off your donations at the Baja Land
office with Pam Gray. There will also be a Bake Sale with many
delicious items. Please plan to attend to help us further our
efforts and commitment to the animals of La Ribera and surrounding
areas. Thanks for you generosity!!

you to everyone who has found me this past couple of weeks. I'll be
her for the next week, leaving on the 22nd. Available open office

Ian Sanders, owner of ExotiKite Kiteboarding,
will be holding an advanced kite surfboard camp on Tuesday, February
21st from 11am-4pm. Ian will be out riding with the participants,
demonstrating tacking, jibing, strapless, wave riding, and aerials.
Tuesday's clinic is limited to 5 people and the cost is only

We went to see Sterling the magician last Saturday night at the Palmas Hotel. After living in Vegas, we expected the show to be slightly "hokey"..:-) IT WASN'T!!!! We were entertained for an hour and a half with a magic show in both English and Spanish. Sterling performed all the standard "magic tricks" and even a few new ones! The plan was to serve dinner and have a show but there weren't enough takers for dinners so it was just the show. Sterling is planning on coming to Los Barriles once a month if he has enough of an audience. It's a VERY FUN way to spend a weekend night and well worth the $20!! b. We are so very lucky to have Connie Heinen and Amparo in our LB community. "Solutions" Clinica de Belleza "Spa Day", yesterday with Connie Heinen and Amparo, was a wonderful relaxing experience. Connie uses the best products that smell so good and leave my skin feeling clean and refreshed. Plus a special paraffin dip for my hands, along with soothing music. My special gift was a huge red tin heart that included 6 products to clean and moisturize my face. To top it off, Amparo gave an unbelievable massage, for ONE hour, with her "healing hands".
