We have another little sierra contest TODAY from 4pm-7pm on the beach north of Los Barriles, before Punta Pescadero called Las Pilitas. Join us for an afternoon of fun fishing. Entry fee is $100 pesos. Biggest sierra takes all. Sign up open during the whole tournament. We look forward to see you there. The East Cape Tackle store will have what you need to catch the biggest sierra. Last tourney we got 31 fisherman, we hope we can get a little more this time.

b.  Volaris comment:  WE have had mainly good experiences with Volaris from Los Cabos to Tijuana. However, be aware that no matter how long you have had your paid reservation you'd better get to their desk in the airport a good 2 hours before the flight as they have a tendency to oversell the capacity of the plane. It's not comfortable to go from the East Cape to the airport for an arrival at 6:20 pm and to not have the passenger arrive. He had to rebook the next day with Volaris as Alaska wanted $460 for a one-way and Volaris was $300 less. Maryolive Shoupe

c.   There was a typo on the 120 VAC. device; it is 400 cocos and is capable of running two-20 amp circuits.
     I have a new 100 amp @240 VAC Square D breaker panel with two 100 amp MAIN breakers; one is for manual over ride and the other is for on/off of the automatic voltage sensing system. This system uses a dual 100 amp solid state switching device which is controlled by an "ICM" "Line voltage monitor."
     When the power falls below a safe operating range [for any and ALL devices,] this equipment turns off all power.  When the voltage returns to the safe operating range ,SOR ,this device turns the Main Power back on to your existing Circuit Breaker Panel. It mounts between the meter and your Service Panel  .It is 1200 cocos.  For a 120VAC dedicated circuit ,there is also a smaller version of the above.  This is a portable small box that plugs into a wall outlet and has two or four outlets which you can plug into directly ;for example, a freezer and refrigerator. The main problem with brown-outs is that motor windings, compressors, and many other appliances simply melt down when left on with low voltage.
     This device does not replace the much needed battery back up system for uninterrupted power to a computer.  In Mexico, if you are not at home then your computer should not be turned on. This device will save a rapid turn on/turn off event from destroying a Flat screen TV and many other devices/appliances. This 120 VAC device runs 400 cocos. Dale
