Now that we have our data backed-up, what else do
we need to do? That depends on how important is your computer to
your daily life? When I come to Baja I bring the original computer
install DVD's and a spare hard drive for the laptop. Not all
manufactures offer you the copy of Windows but they do offer you a
chance to create a disk. It is extremely important that you make
those disks. When I get a computer with a failed hard drive and the
recovery disks, it takes about two hours or less to restore the
computer. Without those disks, it takes most of the day. If your
paying someone to restore your computer that adds up to real
money!!! Why bring the extra hard drive, they are significantly more
expensive down here. Bottom line, if your computer dies down here,
it can be an easy repair when you plan ahead. the

COMPUTER DESK OR TABLE NEEDED - We have the
wonderful dilemma of having more computers than we have desks at the
moment!!! The elementary school is having desks built for their
donated computers, but in the meantime, they could use any old
smaller desk or table that you might have sitting around gathering

Ninfa has cooked many meals for us over the years from her own kitchen, so I know she is a great cook!!
