Dear Readers
I made a mistake. Yesterday, I did not
thoroughly read a notice that was sent to the BPE. The notice
said, "Someone that is unhappy from our old location called to
have the SJD Fiscal office come to check our licenses." The
sentence is accusing someone from the Plaza where the previous
Buzzards was located of calling the authorities. I had skimmed
over the words and interpreted that someone from Buzzards
somehow gave an incomplete address for the new location thus
causing a major glitch with the authorities who issue the liquor
license. Sounded like another day to me! I am sorry for not
properly reading the email and I apologize to Jamie and Marcos
and anyone from the Plaza for any embarrassment this may have
caused them. It is and always has been against my policy never
to accuse anyone of anything on the BPE for obvious reasons.

And Fun Was Had By All at Rotary’s 3rd Annual
Carnaval & Mardi Gras Celebration! THANKS to all who paraded,
helped, watched the parade, came to the Fiesta, bought iPad2 raffle
tickets, danced, wined and dined or participated in any way. Rotary
was pleased this year to add Diabetes Screening to Mardi Gras
activities as we move forward with the Rotary International Grant we
