THE POKER RUN IS TOMORROW! , Friday May 4, leaving at 9:00 am from La Capilla, where the past 3 Poker Runs have started from. The Ride will end at Buzzards new location off the Hwy in Buena Vista. THUMBS UP - ANSWERS - DISCUSSIONS- This category must have name & email address.

a.  We discovered a brand new Restaurant in the Cabo area. This is a must check out when in Cabo. It is called Cabo Mediterranean and is right next door to the Glass Blowing Factory (the gold house just after the tope--- their sign is not up yet). It just opened and has the best food we have had at any restaurant in years. They specialize in seafood with a Mediterranean flair. We all had a different dish and everyone loved their dish. The view was wonderful, and the ambiance was lovely (even though they were not finished with the decoration). The owner, Abraham Castillo, was so gracious and even provided us with music! I would love to see this restaurant become a success so we can continue to eat there!! So check it out next time you are down south. Beer, wine and spirits served. b.  STROKE—WHAT TO DO; Go to a hospital ASAP! WHY—There is a shot that you
maybe able to get, depending on your health, that given with in 3 hours of the stroke, can
greatly reduce the effects of the stroke.
DO NOT---Give or take an aspirin, if the stroke was caused by an aneurysm it can make
it worse.
On June tenth it will be a year since I had my first stroke followed up by a second stroke
five days later I have been in physical therapy for all most a year now, and even though
my strokes were considered “mild” I still have trouble walking, and stares are a real
challenge; I have regained partial use of my right arm and very limited movement of my
right hand and fingers. My speech has improved, but at times, I still have problems.
Although my recovery has been good, I’m still have a long way to go.
WHY am I telling you this now? When I had my strokes, I had several good friends that
came to my aid, neither they nor myself recognized the urgent need to get to a hospital or
the results that it may have had. SO PLEASE IF YOU ARE HAVING A STROKE, OR
ARE HELPING SOME ONE THAT IS HAVING A STROKE, GET TO A HOSPITAL
