The East Cape Guild's Scholarship Award Ceremony
will be held Saturday, May 19, in La Cancha in Los Barriles. This
event is open to all in the community who value education as well as
entertainment. Students will receive their scholarship certificates
and secondary & high school students will provide the entertainment.
The start time on the ceremony is 6:00 (correction from the previous
notice). Come to see the kids who are the future of our community.

Come and learn at our workshops at Buena Fortuna
Botanical gardens about all the myriad of foods you can grow and
enjoy new and delicious ways to prepare your in season foods
appropriate for what grows here and in season, so much to choose
from in these summer months that are very delicious and nutritional
.You will learn about preparing these foods and new recipes for your
kitchen. Our workshop is the first of a potential series and a
detailed overview of all these points and much more, with subsequent
classes going into more depth for each major topic. Our first
workshop will be on Monday May 28th at noon to 2pm or later depends
on interests, you can sign up and register ahead
A.L.M.A. is holding its 8th annual "For Pets'
Sake" Fishing Tournament - May 26-28, 2012. Anglers can register now
at East Cape Tackle in Plaza del Pueblo; or reserve your spot by

(including awards dinner). If you do not fish, but wish to help this
worthy cause; you can purchase dinner tickets for $25. usd or 300.

A message from Dr. Mary, your
chiropractor.....I'm so looking forward to being in Baja and seeing
you this weekend. I arrive early Friday, the 18th and will leave for
Colorado on Tuesday afternoon, the 22nd. Because so many of you have
already headed North and I have some other business to take care of,

Court Approved Translator: This is an individual who has
proved to the Courts that their ability to translate documents from
Spanish to English is impeccable. Once they have achieved this, the
court issues these individuals a special certificate. After
interviewing several of these individuals, I chose one who could
meet my demands. b. To the gentleman who is trying to figure out if he can bring his dog into Mexico, the answer is yes! He has to change airlines as American will not accept pets in cabin. Alaska Airlines will and he will have to check with them about cargo travel in summer. If his dog is small enough it can go in cabin. Hope this helps.
