It’s that time of year
again... the summer heat is coming and the local children will be
off from school. Each summer there is a great 3 week program that is
completely facilitated by volunteering of people, items and
financial donations which make the activities happen, Cursos de
Verano (Summer Camp).
Activities include:
Volleyball
Baseball
Soccer
Painting
Swimming Lessons
Dancing
English Class
A very positive part of this, is not only the children
that have some activity to fill part of the summer, but the
volunteer portion is open to the High School (Cecyt) kids and
helping them satisfy their “Community Service” hours which are a
part of their school grade and experience.
Cursos de Verano It is a wonderful program and one that
the kids become very excited in signing up for to assure they have a
spot for participation.
We are asking for donations to purchase the items
needed for this great program.
These funds can be dropped off at Baja Properties, East
Cape Vacation Rentals or the office of Francis Olachea in the
Bancomer plaza.
Once we have the sufficient funds we will update the

The consensus on putting your Infinitum/Telmex account on suspension
while you are not in Baja over the summer is that you run the risk
of losing your line and having to start over from scratch in the
fall. One thing you can do to save a few bucks is lower your
