   Congratulations to Arturo, Gambino and Ismael for completing a Emergency Medical Treatment Class!!! The local Fire Chief and Ambulance Drivers had travelled to Loreto for the week long, accredited class, taught by a group of Fire/Paramedics from California. Thanks go out to Mayor Guillermo Sandez of La Ribera for handling the cost of their bus tickets. The IESF, (International Emergency Services Fund) for covering the lodging and per diem. Paramagic Paul Hawkins and his crew for teaching the course 'gratis', gracias! Thanks to the people of Los Barriles whose generosity made it possible. a.  The people making these calls know our area. When we got the first call they said they were in La Paz, it would take them 2 hrs to get to Los Barriles. They were going to spend the night there.
All calls said private number except one, that one they said Uncle Rod. Then talked about a car accident, but said all were OK. We hung up   This is the number 331-494-0867

a.  Doe anyone in Los Barriles have a rowing/erg machine who would be willing to allow my wife to use on occasion at their convenience from 11/23 to 12/3? crelardo@comcast.net

b.  Has anyone had experience with pharmaceutical companies mailing RXs such as Ambien (Zolpidem) (or controlled substance) in white tyvek bags: E.g. Do you have it sent USPS, by UPS? How does the Mexican Customs Agents handle it at the border? Do they process it and send it on its way or chuck it in trash. Any input will be very helpful.  chickleta@gmail.com

In the past many of us have enjoyed some of the best cooking in our humble area, Many have shied away due to the lack of a printed menu and pricing. We have helped them create a printed menu, with pricing, in English and Spanish. It is pretty extensive and includes the menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
