I have been notified that La Paz County has the use of Senior cards for paying property taxes by non-nationals is under study and should be resolved sometime soon. It would appear they are looking into the fact that anyone holding a Fideicomiso on their property is not in fact the land owner but has it in Trust with the Bank. It is a complicated situation and therefore the Attorney’s are looking into it. In the mean time you will receive a 35% + 5% for the month of November and 35% for the month of December. The East Cape Guild will be participating in the Los Barriles Community Markets selling our new note cards. We will also be holding two raffles.

The first one is to raffle off a two person "Dolphin Encounter". This adventure is perfect for children or anyone who is not comfortable enough in the water to swim with the dolphins. The winner will be able to enjoy the dolphins from a platform where the dolphins will give you handshakes, a song and dance, and allow you to pet them. This $200 value adventure could be yours just by purchasing a $5 or 65 peso raffle ticket. This prize will be drawn after the December 9 Art Fest.

Dominic of Dominic's Airport Parking in San Jose has generously donated a year's worth of parking for us to raffle. Even if you leave your car only occasionally at the airport you can save by winning this raffle. Airport transfers are included. Tickets are $5 or 65 pesos. This drawing will take place next spring or sooner if all tickets are sold.

All money raised by these raffles and note cards goes to provide scholarships to help our local kids stay in school and complete their high school education.

He was able to fix our Generac propane generator at the house and also the Generac in the Toy Hauler. Also know he has worked on other generators in the area.

c.  Open Mic at the Roadrunner: Live music sung by live people!! If you are a sit-at-home musician and have been wanting for a chance to display your talents, this is it. Remember: It ain't karaoke. a.  The Car Show in La Paz was a success! Ben Purkey’s 1928 Ford Model A Martin-Parry won Best Car of the Exposition. Other locals showing their vehicles were Robin from San Bartolo with his 1964 Chevy Pickup, and Eddie Van Wormer’s 1928 Ford Coupe.
