There are a couple of noteworthy updates to Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) phone systems.  In English, those are the systems that allow you to use a regular phone to make calls to the US using an available broadband internet connection.  I recently switched from Vonage to Ooma.  Vonage was really making some great offers to keep me.  Here are some new promotions from them: www.getbasictalk.com/value03.  Nettalk offers a wireless connection with their newer system:  http://www.nettalk.com/en/duowifi.  With the new Nettalk system, you can connect directly to the modem, computer or wifi, then to your regular phone.  I have not tried the new Nettalk system but it looks very interesting.   The advantage to using the systems from Vonage, Ooma, Magic Jack PLus and Nettalk wifi is not having to have a computer "on" to use those systems to make phone calls to the US from Mexico.    thecomputerguy (thecomputerguy@usa.com)

Mosquitos:

a.  If I can get the formula to the brown mixture, I'll post.

b.  the post in BPE 1456 speaks to mosquito control/Dengue, offering instructions for creating a trap. I have had a like one functioning for some time but it's like eating soup with knitting needle for volume of kills. The link below demonstrates a considerably more effective method and I ordered the fan featured yesterday from Home Depot.. $89.99 free shipping. Am north bound soon and will bring it back for a home grown test. No one wants dengue... it hurts a lot! we need to police our respective areas. If this works as shown I hope that my neighbors will do likewise.
