corner and the crew at ExotiKite Kiteboarding are celebrating
Ians 15th year as ExotiKite's founder and instructor! This

The cell towers in our area are owned by
telmex/telcel. To date I have never heard of a moviestar phone
capable of working here. If someone has one plese notify me so I
can update my site. We are lucky to have the telcel towers with
such a small population, specially in the summer.. I highly
suggest getting a USA ATT pay as you go phone where the costs of
a call are higher but you can re-charge it in English online and
all voice prompts are in English. The upside or downside is you
have a usa number, so people from down here have a harder time
reaching you unless they are on skype or have a land line.. The
upside is if it is people from up north that you want to be able
to contact you it is much easier for them. Calling here local or
north is about 25 cents a minute, same with receiving.
An update on land lines here is for the
intermediate internet plan we have 100 minutes of free calls to
north and 100 minutes of free calls to cell phones. Not sure of
the lowest plan.

We are lucky to live in a part of the world
filled with millions of stars at night. "There's an app for
that!" It's called "Skyview" and is available on Ipads, Iphones
and Itouches that have a camera. Sorry, it will not work on the
original Ipad - no camera. When you open the app, you will see
the sky through the camera lens - nothing new there. Skyview
will then fill-in the outline off the stars that form the Sign
of Aquarius and tons of others. It will find and label all the
satellites in the sky. Skyview will label the planets and
display their track across the sky. This app is a must for
folks in our area.

drive down this week was pretty spectacular. The desert is
lush & green. The roads are in very good condition (the
worst was pot holes in La Paz). Although no arroyos were
running, there was standing water and signs that the arroyos
had run. So many butterflies! And very little traffic, we
were waved through all military check points south. You're
in for a treat!

Now that Buzzards Bay Cantina is back on
its normal schedule, we are planning a Season Opener ~
Celebration of Life for all our friends that won't be
joining us this year. Friday, Oct.19th is the date so send
