  31 October we will make party and costume contest  for the school of Los Barriles.  We will have Mexican food for sale and we want people that can give candies for the kids, this is if some one want give donation of candies. , We will share with all the kids that come that day to the basketball court (La Cancha in Los Barriles)  6PM Magnolia

Modelorama).

RECYCLING NEWS - ‘Just say NO to Styrofoam’
Polystyrene, known as Styrofoam, is toxic waste that fills up to 30% of landfills
and takes 500 years to decompose. When burned, fumes are extremely toxic!
HELP ELIMINATE STYROFOAM FROM OUR COMMUNITY. Ask restaurants
and merchants to STOP serving food in Styrofoam. BETTER YET, bring your
own REUSABLE food containers for take-out.

For 2012-2013 we can accept the following RINSED/CLEAN  recyclables:  
     We accept all plastics with the following numbers inside the recycling triangle on
the bottom of the container: #1,2, 4 and 5.
PLASTIC BOTTLES AND JARS – Crushed and sorted – clear, opaque and
colored.
PLASTIC BOTTLE AND JAR LIDS – Separate lids from the container.
HARD PLASTIC – Furniture, crates, CDs and DVDs
ALUMINUM AND OTHER METAL CANS – Rinsed and crushed
GLASS – Clear glass ONLY. Lids and corks removed. Please deliver in a sturdy
box for transport (leave in box).
CARDBOARD - Flattened and tied in bundles. Please keep wine boxes and other
sturdy boxes intact; we deliver glass in these boxes.
PAPER, NEWSPAPERS, MAGAZINES – Tied in bundles.
SMALL HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES
COMPUTER EQUIPMENT – No monitors.
PRINTER AND TONER CARTRIDGES – HP, Samsung and Xerox ONLY
CELLULAR TELEPHONES and ACCESSORIES
VEGETABLE OIL – In a closed and sealed plastic container.
     NOTE: At this time we cannot accept Tetrapac containers (coated paper/plastic
food and milk packaging), Styrofoam, supermarket bags, colored glass, batteries
of any kind, EPS 6 packing foam for electronics and appliances. ECRB will
announce when we can again take some of these items.
     $70 peso donation is needed from each family to cover the cost of transporting
recyclables to San Jose each month.
     VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Just one hour a month will make light work of sorting
and loading recyclables on Recycle Day. WE NEED YOU! Please contact
