My husband and I are making the Baja drive again, HOWEVER…we are
planning on coming down on the mainland to La Mocha and take the
train up into Copper Canyon before catching the ferry over to La
Paz. Has anyone done this? We are looking for suggestions and tips
as we have never cruised on the Mainland. We hope to cross the
Arizona border on October 19th, early in the morning and taking the
toll road to La Mocha (is this possible in one day?). We will catch
the train on the20th for a 3 day adventure. So… where to stop, where
to spend the night, should we add some more time and go all the way
to Chihuhua? Ferryto La Paz on the 23/24th for a week in Los
Barriles and then cruising back up Baja. We only have 2.5weeks for
this trip and need to spend some time in LB with family. What do ya
think?
