THUMBS UP - ANSWERS -
DISCUSSIONS-
This category must have name and/or email address.
a. Just over a week ago I posed a question in the BPE about
where vehicle a temporary importation permit (TIP) can be returned
in Tijuana. Here's what I've learned so far:
1. San Ysidro. Cannot return a TIP there. There is a Banjercito
branch there, but they do not handle TIPs.
2. Otay Mesa. The Banjercito office is at Fray Junípero Serra
S/N, Garita de Otay, Mpio. Tijuana, B.C., C.P. 22509. Open Monday to
Saturday 08:00 to 23:00 and Sundays from 08:00 to 20:00. Blvd
Garita de Otay is the main road to the crossing.
3. Tecate. The Banjercito office at Tecate is located at Callejón
Lazaro Cardenas S/N Zona Centro, C.P.21400. Open 08:00 to 16:00
Monday to Sunday. I believe that Lazaro Cardenas is the road that
crosses into Tecate from the U.S. (not the road to the U.S.).
4. Mexicali. Don’t know the details, but I believe TIPs can be
returned there.

NB: Google maps will not correctly locate these locations. I have
not personally verified any of the locations, so updates may be in
order as I learn more. TIPs can only be returned to certain
Banjercito locations that are located close to the U.S. border; eg,
you cannot return a TIP to the office at the La Paz ferry.

b. I have discovered the best, lean, natural beef at the
carneceria behind Barrilitos restaurant. They butcher the cow
right there and it is free of any hormones ect. Give it a try!

d. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Vianny's last evening.
Thurs. night is the rib and relleno special for 130 pesos. We
started off with a delicious fresh green salad and freshly
baked warm bread.
The ribs were tender, delicious and plentiful. The rellenos
were perfect! Also fresh vegetables and baked potato. Thank
you, Sylvestre and Martina for a very nice evening!

The Lacks will play the stage songs that you loved at Otra Vez
and the Roadrunner along with some other songs you haven't heard
of yet and Shalom plays jazz and Christian music
Our hope is for Spanish and English speaking, non-church and
church goers, kiteboarders/ windsurfers and fishermen, etc. will
come together, celebrate. Bring your friends! c.
