Botanical Garden Tours -
Come for a tour of this incredible jungle oasis rich with diversity
in the heart of the Baja desert. Buena Fortuna, a true manifestation
of botanical abundance, was started over a decade ago with seeds and
plants collected from all over the world by world renowned botanist,
Gabriel Howearth. The site, is home to over 3,500 species of
plants from around the world, the result of a lifetime of research
and collection from Gabriel’s travels. The gardens are organized
botanically by plant families, designed in combination with
permaculture principles, and shaped in diverse symbolic forms, such
as the Vitamin Pyramid garden, or the Tree of Life garden.
Guided tours every Saturday starting at 10:00 am. Tours
include refreshments $150ps p/p. Produce, landscape design
consultations, exotic nursery plants, compost and rare organic seeds

We called Verizon before coming south and they unlocked our iPhone
4S remotely. You may be able to do this by calling ATT from here.
We then went to the main Telcel store in San José del Cabo and
purchased a SIM chip, MXN$150. They installed it on the spot and it
works fine. Calls are cheap; MXN$2 for one minute back to the US,
MXN$1 for local calls. The rules for retaining your number and
