We were in La Paz on Thursday April 11th, I
used our debit card at Scotiabank across from Sorriana's. Last
night I received a call from our bank saying there was unusual
activities on our debt card..There was 3 charges from Santiago
for gas, there was another one for $70.00 not sure what that was
for..none of those were from us. Our bank did reverse the
charges, then we had to cancel the card. I can only think there
was some type if card reader attached to the ATM
machine..everyone needs to check their bank statements. I'm
happy Bank of America caught this. The charges totaled over
$200.00.. Now to get a new debit card down here..

Sur has invited all rescues and animal lovers here
to come to an open forum at the Casa de Cultura in
San Jose tomorrow, Thurs., April 18th at 5:00 p.m.
This is an historic event! They are trying to pass
domestic animal protection laws here. The more
support we have, will enable us to have these laws
passed and enforced! This will be the first state
in Mexico with such laws on the books. If you are
interested in participating and making this happen,
