Hello to all my Los Barriles friends-In case you have relatives in the Greater Seattle area, I want to let you know that I am hosting the Lack Family here at my place in two weeks. Actually, I offered my acreage here at 'Rangerville' for three days, from August 23-25th as the organizing spot for the eXtreme Tour, which Scott and Paula Lack are playing in and managing. The 2nd Annual Van Wormer Resorts/Lets Talk Hook Up Tuna Shoot Out will take place on October 12th. Captain Kit McNear has done it again. Except this time it’s the Biggest Yellowfin Tuna that counts. Largest tuna caught on October 12th will win a 2013 4x4 Toyota Tacoma. For those of you who have fished in the Dorado Shoot Out in
years past, this will be the same format with the difference being that the biggest tuna wins. There will be over $100,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs. Entry fee is only $350 per team. Terrific prizes for the top three teams that catch the largest tuna. Optional Cash Jackpots of $200, $300, $500 and $1,000 with an 85% return rate. Great drawing prizes of tackle, lures, rods, tackle boxes, gift certificates and
return trips to Van Wormer Resorts. All participants will receive a free tournament shirt and hat. Awards dinner will be held at Hotel Palmas De Cortez on Saturday, October 12th at 7pm.

Friday, October 11 Teams can check in and register from 3pm-6pm at Hotel Palmas De Cortez. All teams participating in the Tuna Shoot Out MUST check in and pick up their wristbands, rules and goodie bags. No team will be permitted to weigh a fish without having checked in prior to the start of the tournament. October 11th
