advertisements. Each category has little "rules".
If you're a business maintain your website daily and include your
link in the BPE. The Calendar at the top of each BPE is the
reminder of up coming events, please read it and use it and
proof it. Any notice with capital or bold words will be
returned for a re-write. Unsigned notices will not be
published unless you can give me a good reason. Use the
Business Directory (I know, it needs work). Most of the above
does not apply to general notices. Thank you for keeping the

and 2012 Honda ATV (army green color) has
been stolen from a house in the South East Cape - very near Nine
Palms surf break. TV, radios, and other smaller items were taken as
well. Theft likely occurred Wednesday evening or early Thursday.
Please keep your eyes peeled for vehicles matching this description.

Announcing the 20th Annual Festival de Artes to be held
at beautiful "Hotel Palmas de Cortez", from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on
Sunday, March 24th. This popular event sponsored by the Asociación
de Artes on the East Cape, is known as the premier showcase for
local artists who display and sell their original art. Well-known
regional artists have already begun to sign up including; Lorri
Trogdon from Los Barriles, Elizabeth Pudwill from Rancho La Venta,
and Jason Durland from Todos Santos, to name a few.
The "Food Court" will feature the famous Palmas Carne
Asada Taco Stand, our own Smokey's Grill & Cantina, Baja Biscuits
and a few new comers that will offer tasty delights. Along with all
of your favorite beverages and a bar that is second to none.
We have a great line up of entertainment, featuring
live music and dance groups.
Funds from the Festival de Artes go to support the community
activities of the Asociación de Artes which include: Arts and
education supplies for East Cape schools, Sponsorship and
participation in the Los Barriles "Cursos de Verano" summer vacation
program, Local Artist Studio tours and our ever popular Saturday
Arts and Crafts at the DIF for the local children.
Booth fees are $325 mxn/$30 usd paid in advance and you
can pick your location on the event site map. Booth spaces are also
available for $400 mxn/$35 usd, the day of event. Pre Pay locations
are as follows:
1. Baja Beach Co in Los Barriles at Plaza del Pueblo, Local #8. Open
Mon -Fri, 9 - 5 and Sat 9 - 3.
2. San Jose Organic Market - Saturday, February 23rd, from 10 am to
1 pm
