Thefts. All branches of our police forces are trying to take action to stop the thefts. It is our local forces in Los Barriles and La Ribera who have the most personnel and vehicles, but their monthly allowance for fuel is not enough for night patrols and/or vigilance beyond town limits. I am not an organizer or joiner, so I ask for assistance in organizing community interest in proving donations to a fund that we could use to assist our police until the Gov provides better fuel allowances. I have spoken to our local police and Delgado in La Ribera and I know they are motivated to act, but lack the fuel. Interested parties can contact me at ermmima@hotmail.com .
