a.  We may drive south from San Felipe on our drive to the East Cape in a few weeks.  We’re thinking to cross at Calexico/Mexicali.  From our experience Tecate is less rigorous than San Ysidro/ Tijuana; I’d appreciate any info on how tough the Mexicali crossing is.

b.  Via the Ventana View:  Wanted......General information, experience or suggestions for a 2001 Ford Van, E-350 with a Triton 5.4L motor that Blew Out spark plug # 3 on the passenger side of the motor. After some internet research I've learned that this is a known problem with this motor but it would be helpful to talk to someone with some first hand knowledge if possible. SPORTS - WIND - EXERCISE
 

The wind has been steady and thick the last few days and will pick up on Sat (16-18kn) and Sun, Mon show more moderate wind speeds (10-14kn), along with almost a ten degree decrease in temperature.  Things get a lot windier for Tue, and Wed (20-22kn),  and the outlook for Thu and Fri shows lighter wind(12-14kn) and warmer temperatures for Valentine's Day sailing.  I hope you have enjoyed the seasonal wind forecast, there will be three more to come in this section this winter.  Please write for more info ... hansheld@gmail.com  (Thank you, Hans )
