I have read this blog with
great interest for many years and this is the first time I am
trying to share my thoughts with the BPE. I am a businessman in
San Jose, CA who has a place I visit part-time (eventually full
time) in El Cardonal and I am wondering if anyone, besides
myself, thinks it's a good idea to establish an assisted living
center in the East Cape. I won't take up space here explaining
my thoughts but I would like to hear from anyone - other
baby-boomers or other interested parties and understand the
feelings of other aging gringos. If you are living in the East
Cape area how do you manage and where do you go for your health
care needs? Do you plan to remain in
the East Cape till the last sunset or do you feel the need to
return home for the final years? Would many of you be
interested in assisted living services/housing/support etc. in
the East Cape, especially if it allowed you to remain in the
