Cry
for help: Via the VentaView, our neighbors to the north
Two of our own community
Pescadores, Loreto Lucero Castro and Eduardo Calderon Lucero
have been lost at sea. They were fishing on the Pacific Coast as
many of our local fishermen need to do every winter to continue
supporting their families. The local communities are presently
having a fund drive to be able to hire a plane to aid in the
search and rescue efforts. Time is crucial, my understanding is
that they have been missing for 5 days now. Please dig deep to
expedite this hopefully life saving effort.

at the School Fundraiser Table at the
Farmer's Market Thursday.

Two fishermen from our community have been missing at sea for a
few days. Boats have been searching to no avail. The community
is trying to raise money to pay for planes to help find these 2
young men. If you can contribute any amount of money, please
drop it off in the subdelegado office which is next to the
police/ambulance station. Every little bit helps. Thank you,

OR, can any of our pilots who receive the View or the Pony
ExPress in Barriles help mobilize an air search ASAP? Just a
thought. I'm sure Mary Sim or Joaquin would help you work with
the families. Mary was told the Coast Guard only searched the
water for three days. What can we do? What would it cost?

Lord of the
Wind - 2013
Party Down to Reggae/Rock live music courtesy Buena Vista Beach Resorts.
Come join all the participants of Lord of the Wind
and enjoy a great dinner and live music from one of
Mexico's finest bands. On Friday Jan 11th
starting at 6pm Buena Vista Beach Resorts will be
serving a Mexican dinner featuring the best of their
acclaimed chef. Following dinner and drinks the band
starts playing a mix of Reggae and Rock.
As a special feature of the night Buena Vista Beach
Resorts will be offering courtesy shuttle buses from the
Los Barriles Hotel to Buena Vista Beach Resorts and

Palmas is holding our annual pig roast
dinner to celebrate Lord of the Wind. Starting
