Lord of the
Wind - 2013
LAST DAY.............
TODAY are the
premier events starting with Big Air where our
competitors try to stay in the air the longest
and followed by the signature event the Lord of
the Wind Showdown. The Showdown pits
kiteboarders against windsurfers to determine
who is the Lord of the Wind.
Kids
kite flying contest starts at 9:00am and continues to
11:00am.
Starting at 8:30am a
community pancake breakfast will be served at the beach.
Sponsored by the Rotary Club
Skipper meeting 9:30am on
the beach to discuss the days conditions and racing
schedule. Pending wind conditions we will start with
Hang Time competition and conclude with the Lord
of the Wind Showdown course race.
Awards will be held at
Palmas de Cortez starting at 6:00pm and party into the
night.
