yourself. The Los Barriles Carnaval Parade
starts at the fountain at 4:00pm and ends in
the new park where there will be local food
booths, music and fun! In addition to
crazily costumed ATVs we expect groups of
our local children, Los Barriles princesses.
Awards will be given for the best float,

everyone, on Saturday at
the community market we will be selling
fresh smoked Fish (Yellow tail), we just
finished smoking it. I use Mesquite and
Hickory chips for a great smokey flavor. You
can't get it any fresher. It's great for an
appetizer, or for making a dip, or with
cream cheese on a Bagel, a smoked fish
cheese ball with nuts, or make my favorite,
a smoked fish Pizza! Also we will have Jurel
empanadas and vegetable escabeche. See you

Market News-Believe it or not we already
made it half way through the Saturday Market
season and we thank all of you who come out
every Sat. to support the Community Market.
We didn't even start last year until Feb18
and we already have had 8 markets this
year! Every week has it's own flavor,
we are learning and growing and pushing for
more produce vendors ,more prepared food
vendors, and are always open to locals who
would like to entertain the crowd. The
local school kids have only been back at
school 2 weeks so we are looking forward to
getting them back at the market soon as they
bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the
market and we are eager to get them selling
tacos and their delicious aguas again .
