EAST CAPE RECYCLING BAJA REPORT - The local kids
at Cursos de Verano (Summer Courses), directed by Francis Olachea
out-did themselves last week. You may recall that East Cape
Recycling Baja is directing environmental education courses at
Cursos de Verano. As part of our program we are having a Recycling
Contest. The kids are divided into 4 age groups. The two kids from
each age group (total of 8 kids, plus 8 parents) who collect the
most recyclables by weight will win the grand prize of a fishing
trip on Awesome or Too Awesome sport fishing boats. The first week
the total recyclables collected weighed over 115 kilos (255 lbs).
Last week the kids collected 295 kilos or 650 lbs!!!! The total
collected so far, with one week to go, is 414 kilos or 913 lbs. Is
that AWESOME or what? Please support the kids and our
environment by recycling. There is so much more we can do to keep

we have 3 female adoption puppies, 1 is black and about
6-8 weeks, we found yesterday and she has been dewormed, flea and
tick medicated. The other two are sisters and they
are about 3-4 months they are been vaccinated and dewormed.
This week we are going to spay them.
