Sticky Apple Mouse or Apple
Mighty Mouse roller ball? Give this a try before dropping the bucks
for a new one. Unplug the mouse (or remove batteries if wireless).
Turn the mouse upside down on a piece of clean white paper and roll
the ball around on the paper in different directions for one or two
minutes. You should see "gunk" come out on the paper (I even had an
eyelash come out of my daughters' mouse), and eventually the ball
will roll smoothly, possibly with fine clicks. Voila! No solvents!
No disassembly! Craig Hammes (Dr Mary's husband)

“Lucky Tuna Tim” Galli from Rancho Leonero was onboard yesterday
fishing the second of two days with his friends when east and
somewhat south of ‘88’ the mayhem on board ”Awesome” began as
Captains Luis and Adan spotted tuna. Off they sped and by the time
the fishing was done, 13 tuna were making their way toward sashimi.
Two tuna were in the 40 pound range, the rest descending down to
football size. My plan is to convince ”Lucky Tuna Tim” to come down
earlier in the season to begin our awesome tuna fishing next season.
Let’s hope it is a harbinger of a robust tuna season
beginning. Three released marlin complimented the tuna just to warm
up the fishermen. “Team Awesome” fishing San Diego Radio Host Pete
Gray’s ”Let’s Talk Hook Up” Tournament with great client Chris Kugel
and crew on board took second place in a three day tournament ending
on Tuesday! With 16 boats fishing,
80 marlin were all successfully released during the best 2 out of 3
day tournament also held at Rancho Leonero. Congratulations Awesome
Anglers!

Baja Ink and More.
I would like to pass on some things I have
learned with filling inkjet cartridges here in South Baja.
The first and most important, because most
people living here seem to favor the HP printers. The cartridges
that have the print head on the cartridge, ( HP21, 22, 60, 61,
74, 75, 92, 93, 94, 122, 675, 901 and others not in this list ),
If you let these sit in the printer for an extended period of
time without using it, the water based ink will dry up in the
print head. And it is very difficult to get the ink to flow
through the print head again. Also on BIG no no, is to leave and
empty HP cartridge in a drawer for a couple of week. The print
head in an empty cartridge will dry up 4 times faster, even if
you put it in a ziplok bag. These cheap HP printer are not good
with the dry Baja air. The cheap printer is not always best.
Also I cannot reset the chips on HP cartridges. Some customers
have not been happy, when I have refilled the empty cartridge,
and they get home and put it in their printer and it does not
read full. When the window comes up saying cartridges empty,
just click OK to continue to print. All cartridges that leave my
shop are full!
I can reset Canon
cartridges 5, 8, 220, 221, 225, 226, and some others makes. I do
have Canon printers ordered. Also I have several new cartridges
from different Company's, stop in to see what I have. I can also
print your business card. If you are in the market for a new
printer, please stop in or email me for suggestions.
I will be at East
Cape Technical in LB
on Monday from 10 to 4.
