a. Car Rental Discussion: In
reference to car rentals in Baja, I can now tell you firsthand to
prepare for the worst. First and foremost, the $9 a day rental I
reserved on line in the U.S. came to over $60 a day with the full
insurance!!! For liability only, it still would have been about $35
a day and they put a $1500 HOLD on your credit card!!!! I had to
talk quick and fast to get them to even use a Debit card...they want
credit cards only. During the slow season you can usually dicker
with them about the price, but not when they're busy. Very friendly
while they're sticking the knife in and twisting it slowly at the
rental agencies. Con cuidado!!! Bill
