Los Barriles Delegation is requesting to the
American Community, for SPONSORS for the Mother's Day celebration.
We are very low on Gifts and we really would appreciate any help you
may give. The gathering place will be at the Delegation or DIF
in the mornings until
May 9th. The gifts can be
glasses, cups, irons, blenders, make up, purses, around 100-150

Ten boats entered the
tournament and a good time was had by all. The winning Boat was El
Pilon with Ron Heinen and Ron Perez. Their catch was a trigger
(2.1lbs), a Skip Jack(7.8lbs) and the big kicker a 49.1 Lb Dorado.
Bet they wish it was the Dorado shoot out. Many boats qualified but
when we heard the report from Ron we opted not to weigh in. Good
thing he didn't lie!! I was there when the fish hit the scale and
that was a Big Dorado. Ron was just trolling back towards home from
the island licking his wounds for not landing any big fish when the
monster crashed his bait. He had to pin the throttle to get back in
before cut off for the weigh in.
After the awards several contestants stayed over
for the Cinco de Mayo dinner on the beach at Hotel Buena Vista. The
food was fantastic. Many thanks to all the folks who donated to the
raffle. El Toro Y La Luna, Cabo Riviera, Terrafin, Hotel Buena
Vista, Sun Days Dress shop, MaryLu Erlandson. Hopefully next year
more people will join the fun.
