Dog Dilemma - I recently
took in an older Chocolate Lab who's owner died from his injuries
sustained in a car accident in Guerrero Negro on his way here this
season. I knew of the owner and the dog and thought I could take
care of him, but I didn't think it through very well because I will
be going to the U.S. for 2 weeks in June, and then for a month and a
half in Aug/Sept and will be unable to take the dog with me. I am
looking for someone who could possibly foster him for this time, or
someone who would be willing to take him permanently. Please e-mail

b. Answer: San Felipe road:
Just went north about 2 weeks ago. there is about 40 miles of dirt
road to gonazga. The road is rough and wash boardy. it takes about
11/2 hrs if you move along. I de-aired to about 22-24 pounds and
drove about 40 where you can in my Tundra. It smooths it out some.
Other places, in turns and along deep arroyos you have to go 4-10
miles per hour. You'll need a pump to re-air. the pemex in
gonzaga and puertocietos is unreliable. Last gas going north is
Jesus Marie. You shoot straight into Mexicali and follow the signs
to boarder crossing. It takes about 1//1/2 hrs to get thru. I took
3 large ceramic flower pots (packed very well) and they all
survived. I would not go any other way.
NOT WANTED -
THREE LINE LIMIT!! Repeats in one week. All Coconuts are US in
origin.
