a. RENTAL CAR INFORMATION: We rented a car
from National Car Rental at the Los Cabos airport for one day so we
could do our shopping, drive to Los Barriles and then drop it off at
Palmas de Cortez, where they have an office in the lobby, although
the office does not show up on their U.S. website. Cost was $60 plus
$20 drop-off fee with full coverage. We were told at the airport
office that return cost would be $60 without the drop off fee, but
when it came time to rent it for the return trip, we were charged
$75. The very nice gentleman at the Palmas office told us we could
rent for cheaper on line prior to the day we needed the car, but
that we needed to go use the National site through Mexico (MX)…..haven't
tried that yet, though. Bill
