Amigos, I am looking for some gringos that have an interest in
playing in the local men’s baseball league. After Justin Moyers
integrated the league last year, there seems to be an interest in
including us “gueros”. I have been asked to see about fielding a
team which will also be made up of local Mexicans so it will not be
an “us vs. them” mentality. Time is of the essence as the season

presents the 2nd Annual "Rock n' Roll for Recycling" on Saturday,
November 30, 2013, 7:30-11:00pm. Join us around the pool at East
Cape Casas & RV Resort and dance off that turkey dinner!!
Your favorite local dudes, Flat Dog, have accepted our
challenge to keep you hopping all evening. There will be abundant
beer, wine and Margueritas for sale along with ECRB's famous hot,
(real) buttered and sea-salted theater-style popcorn. Your admission
price of $120pesos or $10usd includes your first drink to get the
party started. This is perfectly in keeping with our mission to do
something good for the community and have fun doing it! We hope to

Tom, the owner, emailed us each day with an update on his progress
down and included pictures when one of the tires on the trailer
"blew". Boat and trailer arrived safely and in same condition as
when it left Sacramento. Highly recommend Tom for transporting

b. Regarding mace: It is ok to carry mace BUT
if one uses one can be charged with bodely harm and could end up
with a civil complaint at the Civil Tribunal for damages and
prejudices. Best defense is your hand bag lady...personally I do not

c. Hi, Just some info which might be useful , We traveled up
to San Carlos Mag Bay to go fishing on one of the big boats that was
anchored in Punta Magdalena across the bay at the village on the
right looking towards the entrance We got there at about 5pm and had
to get across to the boat with no prior arrangements .The boat was
only due in at about 8pm we went to the little hotel Mar y Arena
which is on the right as u enter San Carlos and met the owner Fito
Gonzalez who was most helpful he arranged for one of his Pangas to
take us across . allowed us to park our vehicle for a nominal charge
, he then arranged for the changeover guys to be brought to the boat
and took us back where we stayed at the hotel for the night The
rooms were clean and the breakfast very good We would recommend Fito
and the Hotel as he went out of his way to help us His Email Address
