Just traveled down from Tecate in route to Los
Barriles. Stopped in Constitution. for the night. We are a
motorhome towing a trailer and found the roads as follows. A lot of
widening and road construction from Santo Tomas to San Quentin. From
Santispac on km103 small washout...km99 bridge closed detour
around...km91 road washout....km62 water still flooded across the
road quickly followed by another washout...km38 small washout...km9
small washout at the bottom of a hill...Road construction thru
Loreto with paving delays. km106-104 major road repair from
washout...km88-89 detour around bridge repair, If you are in a
vehicle some of these won't bother you but if you are an r v of any
kind be cautious. Travel safe

a. There is a real craftsman in San Bartolo
named Caliman (sp?) He painted my older Suzuki Samurai both inside
and out and I couldn't be happier with the job. He spent time with
me going over classic car magazines (his) until I found the perfect
color (very light turquoise - original was badly faded red). He
had the car back to me in 8 days and the price was reasonable. His
cell phone in San Bartolo is 045-612-104-8940. I highly recommend
him.
