The annual Casting 4 Souls shoe give away will be
held
this Saturday starting at
7:00am at the Cancha in
front of hotel Palmas De Cortez. We need lots of volunteers
to help with the distribution of the shoes. If anyone can

eddie@vanwormerresorts.com. The event usually runs from
7:00am – 12pm, but we would
like all of the volunteers to be there by
6:30am if possible. Each
volunteer will receive an event t-shirt and a pair of

Answer/Distilled Water:
Thanks for the many responses to my question
regarding availability of DISTILLED WATER. I've been advised
that it has been seen at on occasion at Chapitos and Soriana (La
Paz). Also at Los Arcos - our very own hardware store. But by
far the best answer I included directions:
We buy battery
water in 5 gallon jugs (garrafon de agua) - bring your own - for
about 70 pesos each at WetSun - behind Immigration in C.S.Lucas.
After the 4
way stop light at main intersection of Rts. 1 and 19 as your
enter Cabo San Lucas stay to your right:
Go about 3
blocks. Turn through to your right at the first Pemex as if you
were getting gas - on the main street (Lazaro Cardenas). You
cannot turn right at Formula Uno (intersection of G.J. Alverez
and 16 de Septiembre). As you leave Pemex - back of their lot
- you are looking at Revoulcion de 1910 across the street to
your left. Go down Revoulcion de 1910 which is parallel to the
L. Cardenas about 100 meters and look for blue laundromat on
left - directly behind Immigration. It is easier than it
sounds.
Immigration is
across from Amerimed Hospital. Pull into gated yard at
laundromat. For a map - Look up El Centro, C.S.Lucas on Google
Maps. When you depart there is a U turn on L. Cardenas just
before the Hospital to avoid going all the way into El Centro.
