Two Canadians, formerly residents of LB, with a full pickup
truck will be driving across at San Ysidro early next week. We'd
be grateful for advice and recommendations about where to go in
Southern Calif to get Mexican car insurance, the declaration
documents for our stuff and any thing else needed before we go

a. Distilled water discussion:
1) The distilled water place is
called Denali as in the mountain in AK. The right turn you are
looking for is immediately after Aramburro supermarket. Wet
Sun is no longer, it closed down about 2 months ago
2) I posted the last post regarding distilled water
and actually copy/pasted an email from a friend. Today I
figured out an easier way to get to the Distilled water
store.
The name is actually Denali Water.
They sell Distilled water and purified water and also do
water analysis. They sell the distilled water in garafons (5
gallon water bottles) for $50.Pesos. I took my own bottles
and asked if they had bottles to sell. They had one
available.
Take the four lane to Cabo. Turn right
like you are heading to Todo Santos on Blvd. Constituyentes
go past the first intersection and get into the left lane.
Look for Feyco on the left and turn onto Ignacio Zaragoza go
down a few blocks and look for a Pemex. Turn right just
before Pemex and take the first immediate right (50 yds. sm
road). Denali will be on the left.
