Discussion: Car Rentals in San Jose - Is there any up to
date information on car rentals and the rental rates vs Insurance
rates? The most recent information that was posted (I believe 3-13)
was that the rates are reasonable, even as low as $9/day, but the
insurance is high. Rental plus liability being around $35/day and
rental plus full coverage approximately $60/day. Is this still the
case and does anyone recommend one company over another? Also, what
do you know about renting in San Jose and returning in La Paz? What
about renting in Los Barriles and returning in La Paz? How are the
rates in Los Barriles vs San Jose? Thank you -
