A Toyota Corolla was broken into on Wednesday, 01/29 while parked
across the highway from the Pemex south of town. The owners left
the vehicle for no more than 20 minutes to walk the beach. One
occupant left their purse in the trunk. Thieves broke a rear
passenger window and pried forward the back seat to obtain access to
the trunk and stole all it's contents including purse, cloths and
camping equipment. It is believed the thieves observed them park
and walk away from their vehicle. Police have been notified.
