Whales #1 - When my visitors wanted to see whales I found
www.turispancho.com. in the BPE. He picked us up at the door and we
traveled in a comfortable air-conditioned van. The whales were
beyond my wildest expectations. There were so many and in two boat
trips out, we encountered two mother baby pairs that came to the
boat for prolonged interaction. My friends returned to the snow
raving about the adventure. I highly recommend it.
b.
Whales #2 - Yesterday we returned from our whale
watching adventure, with Octavio Aviles Cots (
turispancho.com,
please check out his website) I cannot express in words just how
wonderful it was! We were able to actually pet a mother and her
month old calf. They seemed to have adopted out group, they stayed
with us for about an hour. It was truly magical. Octavio takes
care of everything, and he really knows what he is doing. All the
meals were outstanding ! The hotel was humble, but clean and we
all slept well. ( and they have WIFI) Sunset on the sand dunes,
before dinner, was an added treat. I HIGHLY recommend this
experience.

c. Whales #3 - I was in a group that went on a whale
watching tour that started on Feb. 12, 2014, with Octavio (owner of
Turispancho). It was the most amazing experience ever. We went out
in the afternoon on the day we arrived at Puerto Adolfo Lopez Mateos
and saw whales. Went went out before dinner that evening to watch
the sunset on the beach on Magdalena Island. The next morning, we
went out at 8:00 and what happened was unbelievable. A mother whale
and her month-old calf stayed with our boat for a long time and let
us pet them. It was magical. Octavio even bent down and kissed the
mother on the top of her head. He is a wonderful guide. All our
meals were great. The hotel was clean and quiet. We had a delicious
dinner at their restaurant and the next morning, a nice breakfast
before going out for our close encounter with the whale and her
baby. I cannot praise Octavio enough. We enjoyed the tour, his
knowledge, his careful driving, his professionalism, and his fun
personality.
d. La Trinidad: My husband and I just had our 4th dinner
at La Trinidad RV Ranch. The first dinner was so good we thought it
might just be a fluke. Then we went back twice more and again the
food was delicious. Tonight we went again and it was fantastic.
The vegetables were tender crisp, all the meat and fish we have had
was cooked to perfection, the salad bar has a beautiful array of
toppings and great dressings, and the bean soup is the best.
Scrumptious dessert finishes off the meal. You have got to try
this restaurant. My husband says it is the best food he's ever had
in Baja and the servings are grandiose. I think I will ask if they
could have a Mexican food night. If the cook can make American type
food so well, she must be a genius at Mexican.
