Sunday morning at Roadrunner Cafe will be "Baja Toast and Jam", 10am
to noon. Otherwise known as Dr. Mary with Heidi-Banjo,
Stefi-piano, Craig-Bass, Mike ODoherty-guitar and mandolin and any
other friends who sit in to add flavor to the mix. We'll do songs
the girls can help on; Stefi will play solos; and Craig and Mike
O'Doherty will sing a few, too! Come for the fun.

b. Stop by Joe's Deli Mart on your way to or from the
Community Market. There is always something new in the deli case or
on our shelves. Featured this weekend are Stuffed Poblano Chiles,
Meal Size Italian Meatballs, and a nice variety of salads. Our in
house bakery creates homemade Potato Sourdough French loaves and
Bagels daily as well as Fresh Blueberry Apple Pies, Cookies, Morning

style Cooking Class follow-up from the Garden Dinner Party at Spa
Buenavista Beach Resort. Meet at Spa 3:45 as we will be going to an
offsite private kitchen for class. Class is 4-6 pm, cost is $15.00
and includes recipes and sampling of foods. Limit is 10 per class.

e. Next Garden Dinner Party is March 15 (Saturday) with a
Japanese Theme this time, a miso poached fish is the entrée, the
rest is a surprise. This special event at Spa Buenavista Beach
Resort is $30 each and includes either sake or Japanese beer with

I would like to draw the local folks' attention to a talented
artisan now in our midst. Gregorio Ruiz, a weaver from Oaxaca, has
set up shop across from Campestre Triny on 20 Noviembre in LB. I
have shopped for and purchased rugs in various Mexican locales and
these are some of the finest I have ever seen and at very reasonable
prices. He and his family use natural dyes and work in a wide
variety of patterns and sizes. They also do custom work and he
speaks excellent English. So if your Baja casa or your casa norte
could use a lovely Mexican rug or you need a nice gift/souvenir,
