Lord of the Wind (LOW) is fast approaching. Kickoff night time
event is the first ever Tamale Cook- Off Contest. Come help crown
the Lord of the Wind Tamale Champion.
Jan 22nd at the covered Cancha, 6pm to 8pm, Lord of the
Wind and the Primary School will host the Tamale Cook Off Contest.
Local chefs will prepare their own special recipes and donate 25
tamales to the Primary School PTA for sale that evening. After
judging by local dignitaries we will announce the 1st 2nd and 3rd
place positions.
The Primary School will add beans and rice to the plate
and have on sale tamale dinners for $40 pesos. Beer Wine and soft
drinks will also be available.
Lets make this a great first year event and help
support the Primary School.
